- Our trip to Dublin -
We took a coach in Le Mans to join a ferry in Cherbourg. Once in Dublin we met Brigitte, a French guide with whom we visited the city by bus. In the evening we settled in our host families.
The next morning we visited Croke Park which is a huge gaelic football stadium. We tried some gaelic sports, and in the afternoon we went hiking in the Glendalough Valley. It is like a huge graveyard circled by two big lakes and we ate an Italian vanilla ice cream.
The following day we went to the Causey Farm where the farmer drove us around the farm in his tractor and we did a lot of different activities. We discovered traditional dance and music, we made Irish bread, we jumped into the bog which is good for the skin and Antoine even got stuck in it! We made bubbles, we discovered typical farm animals and we tried hurling.
On the fourth day we went to Trinity College. Its library contains 3 million books including the Book of Kells. Then we went shopping in Grafton Street. Finally we took the ferry and went back home.
This trip was amazing!
